I have specifically sought a girl/teen/teen mom 16-30 for my soulmate/lifemate since 97 to no avail.I so yearn for fatherhood,and a younger girl is more apt to want a family or already have one in place,as opposed to a girl closer my age who is beyond the wanton for a child or no longer can concieve.Its the pedophiles and child molesters that came b4 me who make it hard for someone to legitimately seek a younger girl,from so much of their online predatory practices.May respond to borgpad

I am a man in my early forties and divorced. I stay in excellent shape and I look and feel much younger. The problem is that I prefer women in excellent shape too. Body fat is a big turn-off. So many women who are 30+ seem to think it is OK to be even a little overweight. So, I find myself attracted to younger, thinner, more energetic girls. Younger women are usually not the angry or bitter types over the last guy either. They seem to move on faster. The problem is that big 4-0. Once you pass it you are considered "old" in America. In my opinion guys are pretty worthless until at least 30. Not to mention their lack of sexual expertise. So what is is about being 40 that turns girls away.

Finally there is one voice that sums up all about the situation in few words.

When you are in a good shape you do attract similar persons of opposite gender.
Younger women perceive men of 40 as dead beats and almost useless so they tend to search in vain for younger or men of their age. The truth is a man is really at his optimum after 40.

The other reason is women in 30s do not look at mental compatibility but the first look like men
do when they are in 20s. Women in 30s are seeking to esablish a home and procreate. Women in 20s are seeking that and fun. Women in 40s are tired lots with lots of resentment and thus they fail to attract the right type of person and instead waste their best time in waiting for the most ideal match etc.

This of course is my view.

I dont think the difference between 18 and 25 is terrible large! But it depends on the young man. If you have been friends with him a little while, you will know yourself if he has is heart in the right place. Often men in their mid twenties are better as they have a little more maturity than younger guys.

EDITOR IS SO TRUE-wisdom has been evolved that teenagers should first grow and become mature and then go for relationship for a long term duration. READ IN BETWEEN THE LINES carefully. This comes from experience and what you lack is experience.

True you are, maturity is a state of mind and you seem to be very very sensible young girl.But i would like to add on , that same thing happened to my little sister , she was in love with a 27 years guy, when she was in her high school- The guy pretended as if he was not attracted to her sexually but emotionally-But The real story was quite different. She had the same state of mind as you have now. He cheated on to her - you never know what is beneath that phony image !!

This may not be true with you. May be this Guy is a real gentleman , but be cautious and careful.

I'm a 29 year old single female and find myself emotionally involved with a man 20 years older than myself. However, he see me as his daughter and a good friend but I would hope that he would see me for more than that. I really love him and try so hard to get over it. He is the first man in my life who respects my body and my mind unlike like most man who are only interested in in my body.
What can I do? I think about him all the time and would hope he sees me not as some young girl but as a young woman who is prepared to commit and holds a relationship as sacred.

The problem with it is that most people in their 20's and 30's are already married or have STD's. You most likely had sex with married men cheating on their spouses. 16 year olds don't give a damn about anyone else's problems or whether or not the man they are fooling around with is married or not. They don't have the experience or the maturity - that's the problem with it!

When I was 16 I was having sex with people in their late 20's and early 30's so I dont see a problem with it myself. As long as you practice safe sex then everything is cool.

I know that In a teenager's life,many thing's influence them.I believe that teenager's want to be excepted even more in todays society. Because there is more imphasis placed on who or what the teen is supposed to act and be.

I personally am a senior in high school. I've just met a guy about four mounth's ago and he is a wonderful person.As a friend ,he has been here for me whenever I needed him ,never making any move to be more then friends with me. In society they say that this is wrong.Being with an older man is wrong.Why? Why is it o.k for a woman that is 30 to be with a man that is 60? But it is not even remotly excepetable for a 17 year old going on 18 years old to be sexually attracted to a man who is in his twenty's? What happened to the days where if you loved someone, you just loved them? Im a 17 year old young woman and am very mature, I dont want sex with this 20 year old, I want companionship, maturity, respect,friendship, and trust. I only want what many other women look for in a man.

Why Is it so unhumanly or even, saw as a man being having to be a pervert.
Is it because of all the sick men in this world, the rapist, the child molesters? I think it is. But isn't it wrong to judge all men based on these other sick men?
What if this 20 year old man met you in a crowded area,like a mall or movie theater and after you talked for three months thats when you found out that your ages were so far apart? Would it still be in- humane,to be with him or have feelings for him, even if you both had no idea of each other's age in the beginning
? Then would it still be unexceptable?

I have feeling's for a twenty five year old man.
I am not ashamed to saw this.
Im almost eighteen years old. Is it now appropriate to say that at this point and time, I could care less what the world or society thinks?

You have a valid point and there is nothing against it while you seem to be very mature. Most teenagers at this age are not able to envision future and they cant make difference between the right and wrong. Based on thousands of years practices the wisdom has been evolved that teenagers should first grow and become mature and then go for relationship for a long term duration.

While this is true, some exceptional boys and girls are very responsible and they have a mature mind. If you can convince that in intelligent terms to your guardians or parents they will appreciate and support you.

The difference between men and women is very minor simply that men behave differently than woman in similar given situations.
There are always exceptions.
