People get mixed feelings when talking about polygamy or multiple women married to one man. As you know multiple men married to a woman - is considered a polyandry arrangement.

Now my point is that polygamy and polyandry do exist today in the USA, EU and few other democracies which is laden with zillion good, useful and many totally impractical useless laws that prohibit one from doing all which most men want to do.

Can laws stop a man to not do what he wants?
NO.
Can courts or governers or government bodies that make laws create and raise families and make people great husbands or wives or parents?
NO.

Can laywers or judges bring peace and love between two conflicting spouses ever?
NO.
They can never do that.

For your information the practice of polygamy in Europe, USA and many other countries is still very much prevalent and without any legal issues at stake.
No I am not talking these forever enjoying Muslims and Arabs who maintain 4 women simultaneously either in different apartments or some with big houses in a single one.

I am talking about a regular john doe that lives on your street.
Yes almost a majority of men and women do practice something called chained polygamy.

It is a disguised form of polygamy but it works quite perfectly. Men and women first date several persons and then select one perfect appearing at a given time and marry. They try but they fail to co exist for greed, uncontrolled passion, desires and they go to courts and write a document with word divorce or separtion in it.

This is just to fool the system. They proceed and marry another man or woman just like them with whom they keep pretending as a husband or wife and fight with each other over previous marriage.
They do continue seeing the previous spouses and maintain at times a better relationship than when they were actually cohabitating.

Then they get tired of second spouse and once again go to courts and write another document called DIVORCE signed by a court clerk and a bored judge. This is a routine and in all this process lawyers make huge amounts of money, usually all that could be invested for childrens growth or creating a family goes to offices of fat, ugly bastards called lawyers who milk their customers forever as they continue making mistakes and they keep the chained polygamy and polyandry alive.

Wow isnt this a perfect system which an army of millions of lawyers, court clerks and brainless judges keep allowing chained polygamous relationships all perfectly under legal cover.

As per our estiamtes more than 50% of people in the USA have had on average 5 chained relationships and many times they are interlinked or without any lapse and many times simultaneous.

Some clever people maintain perfect relations with multiple spouses under this system just about all the time they can.

When you have this system what is the need for being a good spouse or what is the need for raising a family.

This system has been a good system where everybody seems to enjoy and they all think they are growing and learning.

What a great way to self destruct a whole civilization.

You can quote me anywhere and I standby my views and my views are absolutely correct as per my knowledge and under the freedom of expression I have rights to say the truth.

This is the utter sheer naked reality as it is.
I have not used any pretext, false or fake pretention but written the reality as it is.

If you can accept it fine if you can not keep living in denial and fooling yourself thinking that you live in a highly moralistic and wonderful modern society of progressive people.

For all you guys thinking about multiple gals, I say forget it. It's fun while it lasts, to have 3 gals crawling over you, but, man when they bitch, they bitch. and if like happened to me, they start falling on each other sometime, you become the chauffer and glorified domestic. Specially if Madame senior bitvh holds the purse strings. I hear Madam deux calling and have to run to lick her toes :-)

Im not in a marriage but in a relationship. 2 guys one girl. Im male, my self and the other co-exist well. The male to male relation is more like we are friends. We sleep in the same bed, There is no fighting over her because there isnt anything to fight about. Any-who, I know at least 4 couples in the area in the same type of relationship. Most mask the relationship from other as "We are room mates". Hope this helps.

I grew up in Utah until I was 8 yrs old. Then I moved to San Diego. Were my eyes opened!!??
Then I returned to UT.(Age~25) There I worked for the Health Dept. I know many families that were polygamists and a few that were polyandryists. Yes, it is illegal in UT-either way. However, I can't tell you how many of these families I have known. They do not
For the rest of society, it is very difficult to understand. (I am not in this type of relationship.) However, for the most part, the people in these families have been raised this way and it is also seen as completely normal.Why not? It is within all of us to decide what our relationship(s) are and how we will function within. Just because society says "oh, thats bad" does not make it so. The only problem I ever had w/ these relationships, was that when it came time to pay the bills... well, the state generally got forced in to that.
It also depends on the person(s). You must be of, or raised w/, the mind-set that this is your "place" or way of life. Jealousy, name-calling, being hurtful to your siter-wives or brother-husbands is forbidden.
So, if this is for you... go for it. (Just don't make the state pay for your needs...welfare and medical.)

I feel that this is a wounderful way to handle many of, the world problems. Also: premoting Female supermency! Populaton control, and many other current problems!

I am interested; as a male, in finding a family! With One Wife and several, brother, husbands!

How does day to day work out? Does everyone live together? Who sleeps with who and when?
Are there jealousy issues? Does the husband ever play favorites?
I am seriously considering this and have not even the remotest idea on what to expect.
