There are many societies which still practice polygamy.
In fact most Muslim societies allow polygamy as legal and it is a commonly practiced. Yet with higher education and more mobility, majority of Muslim men dont seem to be polygamous.

In the US, Mormons accepted Polygamy for many years.
One day in Mesa Arizona - the second most important latter day Saint Church city after Salt Lake City in Utah - we asked someone at the Mormon temple and we were told that it used to be practiced until end 80s but now they do not encourage it.

In some small matriarch societies of the world, many women keep more than one husband.
In many European, Latin American, African and Middle Eastern countries, there are many men who keep mistresses and many of them maintain more than one homes...

What are your views on this matter...

I'd rathere having another consenting wife in my life than seceretly keeping a concubine ,mistress,friend with benefits or GF as we tend to call it today....

If my wife and the yet to be my second wife agree fully to that arrangement ...

Ofcourse the law of the land and the western societal decadence would frown on such a thought BUT easily tolerates and turns the blind eye to a GF situation as unfaithfulness but widely acceptable phenomena....
