Why can't my family be happy for me? I found someone new that provides for me the way my ex couldn't. I love my family but I hate to visit with my new boyfriend. They look at him up and down and are quick to judge him. Many of them have been in my situation before and not once have I ever treated the new man in such a way. Why is this? It's been over two years and they still call my boyfriend by my ex's name. It really hurts.
